‘I’m female and I like to bake’…the opening words of my first musing and it’s a fairly accurate description. I’m an undergraduate at the University of Birmingham studying English Literature and aspire to go into Events Management. Coming from a small village in South Derbyshire, it’s taken me a while to settle into a city life but I fell like I’ve finally achieved a balance. I juggle jobs, volunteering and my studies, however when I get the chance to be creative, whether it’s writing, baking, crafting or designing, I will always take it.  Finishing a long day of work with a baking session and then writing about it while taking in cake and tea…well that’s just perfection.
